      Hi Everyone,

I wanted to take a moment and share an interesting test I did. I had 2 different patients who had pain in their upper backs. I cleared ribs and tspine and they still complained of problems in the area. I just had the idea the other day to check their sternum and anterium chest more carefully. I thought I was picking up an issue in the sternal area with both of them so I got them to stand up and rotate right and left which caused pain and was limited with both of them. Then I held the scanner gently over their sternum while they did the same ROM test. Both of them were able to rotate further and with less pain. After treating the area, their ROM was better and pain was reduced.

I hadn’t thought of trying that ROM before especially with the scanner so thought I would share. Hope it helps someone.
